    The users can compare their progress on specific muscles over the past week and customize their workout routines for optimal results based on their fitness goals.

    Besides, the company offers an option to enhance the workout experience with a connected device, which provides real-time rep counting and muscle analytics during gym workouts, improving each session's overall efficiency and effectiveness.

    Our client faced a critical challenge in their quest to launch their fitness app on the App Store and Google Play as swiftly as possible. After an in-depth analysis, we identified several critical issues that were hindering progress, particularly some errors in the codebase combining .NET and Flutter technologies.

    Additionally, while a decent admin panel was already created, the client-side web resource and mobile app remained underdeveloped, posing further challenges. On top of this the project involved integrating a smart device that required precise connectivity and real-time functionality.

    Our intervention focused on identifying and resolving these key blockers, allowing the project to move forward efficiently and enabling a quicker launch, which in turn would allow the client to start generating revenue sooner.

    To address the client's urgent need for a rapid project turnaround and successful app deployment, we tailored our approach to meet their specific challenges and tight deadlines.

    • Identification of phases: Our focused team, including a skilled developer and a PM, tackled the project challenges head-on. The project manager set priorities and created a detailed WBS to organize tasks efficiently and prioritize the most urgent fixes. Given the client's urgent need to launch the app on both the App Store and Google Play, the team formulated a precise project timeline. The developer conducted a detailed assessment to understand the existing issues with the codebase, third-party payment system integration, and smart device functionality.

He also enhanced the connectivity of the smart device, which initially had issues with Wi-Fi connection, and finished creating the device module to ensure such app features as reliable real-time rep counting and muscle analytics.
    • The web portal and admin panel, hosted on Azure, required some optimization too. We modified the deployment pipeline, leveraging Azure's cloud services to streamline the process. And to process workout data and implement algorithms to suggest updated training routines, enhancing the app's functionality, Azure ML was utilized.
    • To address the critical issue of integrating payment systems and ensuring successful App Store reviews, we implemented in-app purchases for iOS, ensuring full compliance with App Store policies while minimizing the impact of commission fees. For the Android version, we integrated Stripe, leveraging the platform’s allowance for third-party payment systems to provide a seamless user experience.
