Our client is an online clinic dedicated to supporting women in their fertility journey, offering a range of personalized services, including in vitro fertilization and expert guidance through every step of pregnancy.
Telehealth, which boomed during the COVID-19 pandemic, is still underutilized in fertility treatments. Yet, our client stands out as one of the few startups advancing within this medical field, providing inclusive, accessible care with a minimized number of offline clinic visits.
The company enables patients to conduct initial consultations and monitoring virtually, giving them a clear overview of available treatments and a tailored plan from the convenience of their homes.
This approach ensures that distance from urban centers or busy schedules no longer limits access to top-tier fertility services, allowing for real-time adjustments and continuous support toward optimal outcomes.
Our client set out to make fertility care more accessible, convenient, and supportive for women by reducing the need for frequent in-person clinic visits.
Traditionally, the US fertility care market has been slow to adopt telehealth solutions, with many clinics still requiring patients to be physically present at consultations that could actually be conducted remotely. This often means added time, travel, and stress for women, especially those living in smaller cities or areas with limited fertility clinics.
Recognizing this gap, our client built an online clinic model to streamline the fertility journey, aiming to reduce the typical clinic visits from numerous appointments to just two essential in-person sessions.
The challenge lay in automating processes that were still manual and time-consuming—patient verification, test requisitions, and administrative tasks—to save time for both patients and staff while ensuring top-quality care.
To support our client's rapid growth as they onboard more clients and partners, Binariks assembled a team of skilled backend and DevOps professionals with specific expertise in the healthcare industry. Our specialists went through rigorous rounds of external and internal interviews to ensure the best fit for the client's requirements.
The project was carefully planned to meet the company's unique goals, starting with a detailed project framework, problem assessment, and customized agenda to clarify all objectives and milestones.
Thus, Binariks started creating a custom web application, a solution to improve accessibility to fertility services and optimize the client's operations. We aimed to streamline previously manual and time-consuming processes, such as patient verification and test requisitions.
By importing all patient data from DrChrono, we created a comprehensive, centralized platform where patients can view their health information and designated caregivers can manage user access. This solution bridges gaps in DrChrono's communication capabilities, making the given platform the single source of truth for patient records.
Additionally, we integrated third-party tools like Calendly, Intercom, and Fertile AI, allowing doctors, other medical staff, and patients to access critical information in one place instead of using different systems for each action, from adding lab orders to starting the treatment and registering appointments.
Here’s a breakdown of the technical implementation we developed to support the client’s requirements, optimized for reliable performance and data security:
