Strong Middle/Senior Java Engineer (with HL7 and EMR experience) in Remote (Ukraine)

Binariks is looking for an experienced Middle Strong/Senior Java Engineer to join our team on the healthcare industry project from the USA. Medical coding platform that integrates with EHRs and simplifies the medical billing utilizing AI. It automatically translates clinical notes into billing codes that satisfy coding requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of experience in Java




• Experience in setting up the observability infrastructure against AWS services on multiple projects 




• Experience in using technologies such as DataDog, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc. 




• Experience in working with distributed systems, preferably Kubernetes.




• Highly desirable Healthcare or medical coding experience with HL7, especially how it's used in specific workflows like Radiology, Pathology, and others.




• Experience working in a startup / fast-paced environment




• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical requirements with business goals.




• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.




• B2+ level of English




• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar

Your Responsibilities

• Setting up the observability infrastructure against AWS services on multiple projects that include building observability health dashboards for company wide consumption and programmatic alerts to notify the appropriate personnel when issues arise. 




• Develop mission critical microservices, with an emphasis on scalability, security and performance




• Produce technical documentation, software, and supporting test code




• Coordinate with other developers in testing of integrated code components, and coordinate with QA testers in resolving discrepancies between software specifications and application behavior




• Sustain existing functionality via technology updates and functional enhancements
