Solution/Data Architect (Insurance domain) in Remote (Ukraine)
Binariks is looking for a skilled Solution Architect to join our team on a part-time, consulting basis. This position requires architecture design leadership for various lines of business and enterprise applications in the insurance domain.
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of hands-on experience in software development
Experience in pre-sales and discovery phases
2+ years of experience in insurance domain
Experience in working with modern data platforms, including:
Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ETL/ELT pipelines, ML workflows)
Snowflake (data modeling, Snowpark, performance tuning, governance)
Data Lakehouse patterns, streaming vs batch ingestion
Solid experience in Integration with BI, analytics, underwriting models, predictive scoring
Understand businesses pain points, requirements and translate these into winning solutions
Strong understanding of information systems, key technologies, and limitations
Experienced in understanding and documenting functional and technical requirements, able to create and deliver compelling documents and presentations
Ability to communicate technical requirements and transfer knowledge to a project team
Upper-intermediate level of English
Your Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders (internal + client-facing) to understand insurance-specific business requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications during presale and discovery phases.
Design end-to-end scalable, secure, cloud-native architectures for insurance ecosystems, including policy lifecycle, claims, underwriting, rating engines, and customer onboarding processes.
Architect and advise on modern data platforms
Conduct architectural reviews and maturity assessments of insurance data platforms, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for modernization.
Support the Solution Group by producing templates, reference architectures, guidelines, and reusable assets.
Present their own real case studies during presales.
