Solution Architect (Education domain)

Binariks is looking for a highly proactive Solution Architect to support presale/discovery procedures and lead the architectural transformation of a core enterprise learning platform. The primary focus involves decoupling a legacy monolithic architecture to integrate a new headless Content Learning Management System (CLMS), designing robust data migration pipelines, and supporting the rollout of next-generation AI tutoring agents.
It is a part-time position (Consultant).

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Python, React, and MongoDB

  • Experience building and maintaining Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)

  • Proficiency in modern data and analytics stacks, specifically Microsoft Fabric and Power BI

  • Expertise in the Edtech domain

  • Expertise in evaluating, selecting, and implementing Headless CLMS platforms

  • Deep understanding of legacy e-learning interoperability standards (SCORM) and how to modernize them

  • Highly proactive, driven, and analytical mindset with professional pride in proposing and defending robust architectural designs

  • Excellent communication abilities to facilitate knowledge transfer from siloed legacy experts and unify distributed internal/vendor teams

    Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in edtech or a related industry

  • Proven experience in driving CapEx-oriented vendor relationships and transforming legacy monoliths into API-first architectures.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design scalable, multi-tenant application architectures utilizing AWS, Python (backend), React (frontend/PWA), and shared-schema MongoDB databases.

  • Architect the transition from a monolithic legacy content system to a modern headless CLMS, including the design of APIs for seamless data exchange.

  • Design automated data migration pipelines to extract, transform, and load existing content from legacy databases into the new CLMS, eliminating the need for manual data entry.

  • Evaluate and resolve technical debt accumulated from the product's evolution (e.g., adapting rigid data models meant for language levels to accommodate flexible soft-skills training).

  • Seamlessly integrate AI-driven agents and avatars capable of interacting with learners via voice and text to supplement live tutors.

  • Modernize and maintain complex client integrations leveraging standard legacy packages like SCORM.

  • Oversee the integration of data engineering and reporting pipelines using MS Fabric and Power BI to generate analytics for both client dashboards and board/investor reporting.

  • Ensure all solutions are compliant with local, national, and international education and data privacy regulations.

  • Manage data security within shared-schema multi-tenant environments to ensure strict tenant data isolation.

  • Proactively collaborate with and drive distributed engineering pods, internal QA, and external vendors, pushing back on inefficient proposals to ensure high-quality architectural outcomes.

  • Conduct COMPASS or similar assessments of the existing SDLC and pilot AI-driven SDLC improvements across engineering teams.
