Senior.Net Engineer

Binariks is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior C# Engineer.
Project: UK-based fintech platform that provides intelligent cash management solutions to help clients maximize returns and manage their liquidity efficiently. The company is undergoing a major architectural shift from a monolithic system to a microservices-based infrastructure to improve scalability, resilience, and development velocity.
Project details:

• Migration from a monolith to a microservices architecture


• Tech stack: C#, Azure, Kubernetes
  


• Existing team: 6 engineers in the UK


• Engagement: Full-time (or close to full-time) for 5–6 months


• Collaboration with cross-functional teams in both the UK and offshore

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with C# (.NET Core / .NET 6+)


• Solid hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Azure DevOps)


• Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes-based solutions


• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and distributed systems


• Experience in migration from monolithic architectures to microservices


• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams


• Upper-intermediate or higher English level

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Azure Service Mesh or similar


• Event-driven architecture experience


• Background in fintech or financial services

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of microservices architecture


• Collaborate closely with the UK team to plan and execute the migration from monolith to microservices


• Develop, deploy, and maintain microservices using C#, Azure, and Kubernetes


• Optimize and secure Azure-based deployments


• Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for scalability and maintainability


• Mentor mid-level engineers on the project


• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards
