Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with Node.js experience

Binariks is seeking a highly skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with extensive Node.js experience.
Project: the platform connects travelers, content creators, and businesses through authentic user-generated travel videos, enabling users to explore, plan, and book trips. 
The app also offers businesses a licensing portal for cost-effective marketing using high-quality travel content.
It is a Contractor position (part-time).


What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development


• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails


• Extensive experience with Node.js and related technologies


• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Web Services


• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities


• At least Upper-intermediate English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Next.js


• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing


• A passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and Node.js


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features


• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code


• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members


• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
