Senior Java Engineer (German Language Proficiency) in Remote (Europe)
About:
Binariks is looking for an experienced Senior Java Engineer with fluent German to join our team.
Our client is a German company, specializing in the digital management of therapeutic practices. It offers software for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and other healthcare professionals. Their solutions cover functions such as: Patient management and documentation, Billing, Calendars and HR management, Analytics and business intelligence, etc.
There are 3 Scrum teams of 5-9 members.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Expertise in Jakarta EE/Quarkus
- Understanding of clean code and best practices in software development
- Eagerness to learn new coding approaches and stay open to continuous learning
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- B1 and higher in German, good enough for daily communication
Your Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of backend services in a self-organized team (Scrum)
- Design and implement features and functions
- Participating in the design of architecture and technology decisions
- Ensuring system security and implementing best practices (security)
- Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings
Will be a Plus:
- Full-stack development experience, especially with JavaScript (Angular)
- Previous experience working in the Healthcare or MedTech industry
