Senior Golang Engineer in Remote (Ukraine)
About
Binariks is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Golang Engineer. The client is a boutique software consultancy specializing in the finance sector. They build innovative products and services by organizing cross-functional squads covering product, design, engineering, and data.
About the project: there is a need to develop a cutting-edge reinsurance ecosystem for a leading global reinsurer. You’ll work on bespoke data products, solving real-world problems while leveraging the latest tech.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Golang and its core principles
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Web Services
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and autonomy in cross-functional teams
- A commercial mindset and experience across start-ups or large corporations
- Broad technical knowledge and willingness to experiment
- At least Upper-intermediate English
Your Responsibilities:
- Build products and deliver business value
- Make architectural decisions and manage large datasets
- Develop, test, and secure APIs
- Set up and maintain deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Manage cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure, Terraform)
- Monitor applications and support end-users
- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize work while managing technical debt
