Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python + React) in Remote (Ukraine)

About:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Python + React) to join a project focused on building an Intelligent Health Platform (IHP) for operating room scheduling, resource optimization, and workflow efficiency across a large multi-hospital health system.
The platform integrates clinical data, staffing, equipment availability, and predictive analytics to streamline scheduling and maximize operating room utilization.
The role is primarily focused on backend development, with frontend work as part of the overall solution.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework


• Solid knowledge of React


• Experience building and maintaining microservices-based architecture


• Experience working with Microsoft Azure


• Experience with MS SQL


• Experience or strong interest in Agentic Frameworks, specifically BMAD Method (v6)


• Experience working in the healthcare domain


• English Upper-Intermediate or higher


• Strong collaboration and communication skills


• Technology-oriented mindset with the ability to proactively suggest solutions and contribute to technical decisions

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Django REST


• Implement and support microservices-based solutions


• Contribute to frontend development using React where needed


• Work with MS SQL database, ensuring efficient data access and well-structured schemas


• Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and engineers to clarify requirements and propose technical solutions


• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions


• Take initiative in improving code quality, system design, and development practices

Will Be a Plus:

• Experience with Azure Health Data Services


• Understanding of PHI/PII data handling and HIPAA compliance
