Senior Business Analyst (Fintech/Consultant)

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst (part-time) to be the vital link between business stakeholders and our team in the exciting field of financial technology (fintech). Your role will extend beyond core responsibilities to actively participate in presales activities tailored to the fintech sector. What We’re Looking For


  • 5+ years of experience in a role Business Analyst including 3+ years of experience working in the Fintech field;

  • Proficient in writing User Stories, Use Cases, Functional and Non-Functional requirements, system diagrams, and wireframes;

  • Experience in presales activities participation;

  • Experience working with Restful APIs (writing requirements, API usage);

  • Experience in Microservices architecture;

  • Experience of working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);

  • Knowledge of SQL;

  • Knowledge of UML, BPMN;

  • Understanding of different finance, legal, and government requirements, restrictions, and obligations related to the Fintech products in the USA and Europe

  • Understanding of key UX/UI practices and processes;

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle;

  • Understanding of architecture of WEB-based application;

  • English Upper-Intermediate or higher.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;

  • Proactiveness;

  • Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to keep the overall solution in mind;

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, running concurrent projects, and managing BA work with multiple stakeholders;

  • Good time-management skills, and ability to handle multitasking activities.


Will be a plus


  • Experience in enterprise software development or finance domain;

  • Experience in the delivery of desktop, mobile, and web applications;

  • Experience of successful system integration projects.


Your Responsibilities


  • Participation in presales, discovery phases and workshops with Customers, covering key business and product requirements;

  • Participation in Solution Group along with UI/UX, Architect, and Project/Delivery Manager;

  • Manage project scope, requirements management, and their impact on existing requirements, defining dependencies on other teams;

  • Creating business requirements, user stories, mockups, functional specifications, and technical requirements (incl. flow diagrams, data mappings, examples);

  • Close collaboration with the development team (requirements presentation, backlog grooming, requirements change management, technical solution design together with Tech Lead, etc.);

  • Regular communication with internal (Product, Account Management, Business teams) and external stakeholders (Partners, Customers);

  • Preparing UAT scenarios, and validation cases;

  • User Acceptance Testing;

  • Demo for internal stakeholders;

  • Creating documentation (user guides, technical guides, presentations).
