Next.js Engineer with Ruby on Rails experience

Binariks is seeking a highly skilled Senior NextJS Engineer with extensive Ruby on Rails experience.
Project: the platform connects travelers, content creators, and businesses through authentic user-generated travel videos, enabling users to explore, plan, and book trips.
The app also offers businesses a licensing portal for cost-effective marketing using high-quality travel content.
It is a Contractor position (part-time).

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of professional experience in software development

Strong proficiency in NextJS and its core principle

Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails and related technologies

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and Web Services

Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

At least Upper-intermediate English

Would be a plus:

Experience with other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

A passion for learning and staying updated with emerging technologies

Your Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using NextJS and Ruby on Rails

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Optimize application performance for speed and scalability

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
