Middle Quality Engineer (German Language Proficiency)
About
Binariks seeks a highly motivated and skilled Middle Quality Engineer with German Language Proficiency.
Project: social media with livestreaming capabilities. There is a possibility of posting different types of content (audio, video, text). There are also social interactions, like following functionality, feed, profile, commenting, and searching.
The project is planned as PWA and developed only for mobile devices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or software testing
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and test methodologies
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- At least Upper-intermediate English
Will be a plus:
- Experience in performance and security testing
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB)
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software quality
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Continuously improve test processes and contribute to test automation efforts
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in both English and German
