BI / Big Data Solutions Architect



Binariks is looking for an experienced and highly skilled BI/Big Data solutions architect with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing, and Big Data platforms. This role bridges sales/pre-sales activities and technical delivery teams. The main responsibilities lie in understanding client needs, architecting and designing innovative BI/Big Data solutions, demonstrating feasibility via POC, supporting the sales process and providing technical leadership and advisory during the project execution.

What We’re Looking For:

      • 5+ years of experience combined in data engineering, BI development, and data architecture roles

      • Proven hands on experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouse architectures using platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar.

      • Proficient in ETL/ELT processes, hands on experience designing and implementing production grade data pipelines using SQL, R, Python or Scala

      • Expertise in Data modeling, and data governance practices.

      • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.

      • Familiarity with modern data stack components such as dbt, Airflow, Kafka, Spark, etc.

      • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

      • Proved experience in a client facing role such as Architect, advisor, consultant, technical presales

        Desired qualifications

        • Professional certification in one of the top clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) in Architecture or BI/Big Data specialty (AWS Big Data Specialty, GCP Data Engineer, or equivalent)

        • Experience with industry-specific BI and analytics use cases (e.g., in healthcare, fintech, insurtech, energy etc.).

        • Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).




Your Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with the presales teams to engage prospective clients acting as a primary technical point and trusted advisor

  • Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops and assessments to deeply understand client business challenges, technical environment and identify opportunities.

  • Architect end to end solutions tailored to client needs to automate complex business processes and workflows.

  • Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demos and customized POCs that effectively showcase business value

  • Provide technical expertise for creation proposals, SOWs, implementation roadmaps and accurate cost/effort estimations
    Contribute and oversee directly to the design and implementation of cloud-based data platforms, pipelines, and dashboards.

  • Architect and optimize data models, ETL/ELT workflows, and visualization layers using best practices.

  • Ensure solution scalability, performance, governance, and security across diverse environments.

  • Implement and follow DataOps and DevOps best practices throughout the data project lifecycle, including version control, CI/CD for data pipelines, automated testing, performance monitoring, and data quality assurance.

  • Collaborate effectively with project delivery teams and ensure seamless integration with clients systems, facilitate smooth transition from POC to production
    Serve as SME in data architecture, BI platforms, data lakes, and modern data stack technologies and their practical applications for both external and internal teams

  • Advise clients and internal teams on data strategy, tool selection, and roadmap definition

  • Oversee and guide delivery teams throughout the design, development, and deployment lifecycle, ensuring solution quality, performance, and scalability.

  • Identify opportunities and contribute to the development of reusable components, frameworks and reference architectures

  • Continuously research and stay up to day to the latest advancements , frameworks, tools and best practices.
