Binariks is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Backend Engineer with Alexa experience for a UK-based company that provides an online platform for connecting elderly individuals and their families with professional caregivers.

Also, it provides a range of tools and resources to help families manage the care of their loved ones more effectively, including a scheduling system and a care journal for tracking daily activities.

What We’re Looking For

Experience with using Alexa Skills Kit (or Alexa API)
4+ years of experience with back-end technologies (preferably Java or Python)
At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English for daily communication
Being hardworking and proactive, positive and collaborative
Ability to perform complex tasks with no supervision
High standard of code quality

Your Responsibilities

Development of Proof of Concept
Understanding a technical risk, such as the performance of a product or its ability to integrate with external systems
Evaluation of different technology options for later selection e.g. choice of web server or database, security
Demonstration of how the product might work with a view to informing UX, design, and business decisions over its features
Developing system components throughout the whole product lifecycle
Influencing the development strategy and technologies of a global product deployed on hundreds of servers around the world
Collaborating with other developers to design, architect, implement, and build a frontend project
Coming up with your own ideas for product enhancement and productivity boosts
